Salt Lake City Bicycle Collective generously donated 150 refurbished bicycles to United Way of Salt Lake partners: Lincoln Elementary, Granite Park Jr. High, Mountain View Elementary, and Glendale Middle School.  The bicycles were used as Christmas gifts and reading incentives for students at these schools.

SLC Bicycle Collective seeks to promote cycling as an effective and sustainable form of transportation and as a cornerstone of a cleaner, healthier, and safer society. The Collective provides refurbished bicycles and educational programs to the community, focusing on children and lower income households.  They provide DIY classes and are always accepting donations as well as volunteers to help refurbish more bicycles.  To donate, volunteer, or sign up for classes visit http://www.bicyclecollective.org/ .

Thank you Jonathon, Hailey and the entire SLC Bicycle Collective staff and volunteers that helped make this donation possible! What a great gift!
