Help us help children in need! The weather is getting colder and so many children are in need of warm winter gear including coats, boots, and socks. Greystar is teaming up with United Way of Salt Lake to collect these items and deliver them to local elementary schools. Choose to have Amazon items shipped to your home address and bring them to sorting and delivery or select the registry address and have them delivered to Greystar staff who will store them until it's time to sort and deliver.
Gather with staff and residents of Greystar properties to celebrate the Season of Service Coat and Boot Drive by sorting donations to be delivered to schools.
Date: November 30th, 2021
Time: 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Where: Columbus Center of South Salt Lake
(There will also be opportunities to do deliveries to schools on December 1st.)
There are plenty of ways you can help kids in our community succeed, both during the holidays and throughout the year. Sign up to be a virtual mentor/tutor, find a one-time volunteer opportunity, such as making calls to Clearfield Elementary families, or learn more about advocating for schools during the upcoming legislative session.
Help students stay on track in school by being a regular tutor or help them prepare for college and beyond as a mentor! We're looking for volunteers who want to connect with kids one on one and directly contribute to their long-term success.
We have several all hands on deck opportunities assisting at our events, delivering flyers, or helping out schools. Make an impact on your community by signing up for one of these events, or be notified when new opportunities arise by signing up for our Volunteer Action Network.
Engaging in public policy advocacy is a powerful way to make a difference in people's lives. Sign up for Action Alerts and help us advocate for bills that benefit local families and kids during the 2021 Legislative Session.
