Angie

When we first met Angie, she was one of 737 kids who had the opportunity to participate in a high-quality preschool program through Granite School District. By 5th grade, Angie and her fellow preschool classmates were at the top of their class and outperforming many other students in their grade. These students closed the achievement gap in math and English.

Today, Angie is in 10th grade. She plays the violin and is a 4.0 student. She dreams of going to UCLA to become a pediatrician. Angie’s mom says: “I am so fortunate to have been able to send Angie to preschool, I want everything better for my kids. I’m so happy and proud of her. She works really hard to achieve her dreams and she is very brave. She will be the first in our family to graduate and go on to college.”
