With the unofficial start of summer officially behind us it’s time to think how you’ll spend your summer. I don’t know what your plans are but I would love to spend my days relaxing at the beach! If you’re thinking you’d like to be a little more productive than that and accomplish something this summer you can do that by participating in the youth-centered service program, Summer of Service!!

Youth, ages 5-18, are encouraged to “get up, get out, and serve” in their community anytime from June 1st through August 31st. Participate in one of many project ideas found on 211ut.org or organize and plan your own project! Make sure you log your hours and turn in a service journal to be recognized with a bronze, silver, or gold certificate at our recognition event September 8th at the Gateway.
