Caring and committed individuals are essential to to making long-term changes in our neighborhoods and communities. They make it possible for United Way of Salt Lake to do the work that helps every child succeed, from cradle to career. I can’t think of more caring and committed individuals than those chairing our Young Leaders committees. I want to quickly take time to make sure you know who those individuals are, and how grateful United Way of Salt Lake is for their service.

Claudia Larsen, Zions Bank, is the Chair of the Membership & Events Committee. Claudia has been a long-time member of Young Leaders and heads up a very hard working committee. Without her leadership and the work of the committee, our Young Leaders’ events would not be as engaging, interactive, and fun as they are. Claudia helps with sponsorships and prizes and does an amazing job at bringing together details that are fundamental to our events.

Tony Hull, Yesco, is the Chair of the Community Involvement Committee. Tony has also been a dedicated, long-serving Young Leader, and has done a lot of work to bring meaningful volunteer opportunities to our group. Tony has done everything from leading his committee through composing a strategy for the year, to rolling up his shirt sleeves and helping with service projects. Tony is a true leader and does all he can to engage this group of young professionals in the community.

Finally, Will Schwarzenbach, Questar, is the Chair of the Advocacy & Public Policy Committee. Like Claudia and Tony, Will has served as a Young Leader for many years. He brings such great leadership to this group and fronts our advocacy efforts. Will always ensures his committee is moving in a forward direction and is dedicated to educating Young Leaders on UWSL’s advocacy priorities.

All three of these individuals are great examples of what it means to
LIVE UNITED! Thank you Claudia Larsen, Tony Hull, and Will Schwarzenbach for committing to another year of leading these hard-working committees.
United Way of Salt Lake thanks you!
