On Thursday, May 30th, our Young Leaders Community Involvement Team hosted an end of the year celebration for Guadalupe School!

Guadalupe School has been home to a Young Leader’s monthly event where Young Leaders can come and spend 1 to 2 hours volunteering their time to read with the students.  As a group, we wanted to say thank you to the school, the staff, and the students for giving us the opportunity to volunteer!  There is no better way to say thank you than a PARTY!

We started by working up a sweat playing Everybody It tag, The Blob Tag, and Shark and Minnows! Then to cool off, we made banana splits with chocolate and strawberry syrup,  colorful sprinkles, and an ice cream cone hat!

What a wonderful way to celebrate these outstanding students and we wish you all a wonderful summer break! Thank you to Guadalupe School for allowing us to come and spend time with such great students and staff. Also, thank you to the Young Leaders for LIVING UNITED and volunteering.
