Earlier this month United Way Worldwide brought together students, parents, educators and partners for an Education Town Hall. From this historic event came the challenge for one million people to volunteer to read, tutor and mentor the children in their communities. National Volunteer Week may be coming to a close, but the work is just beginning. It will take all of us working together to bring about lasting change in our community.
