This week, we are thrilled to announce Michael Weinholtz, The Weinholtz Family Foundation, as our Compassionate Leader of the Year.
The Compassionate Leader of the Year award acknowledges the outstanding efforts of individuals or organizations that have committed a significant amount of their time and talents, along with personal and/or corporate resources, to fulfilling United Way of Salt Lake’s mission. This is United Way of Salt Lake’s highest honor to those who give tirelessly to advance our work.
Michael Weinholtz has been a proud supporter and champion of United Way of Salt Lake’s mission for many years. Last year, The Weinholtz Family Foundation made a significant investment in United Way of Salt Lake’s Changing the Odds Campaign. Weinholtz prides himself as a champion of community building in both his personal life as well as his professional life. As CEO of CHG Healthcare, he has incorporated community involvement through United Way into his core organizational values, leading to incredible year-round employee participation in CHG’s workplace campaign and numerous volunteer events throughout the year. The company also shows support through event sponsorships and employee participation in United Way’s special events throughout the year.
It is an honor to recognize Michael Weinholtz and The Weinholtz Family Foundation for its exceptional commitment to creating positive changes in our community as United Way of Salt Lake’s 2014 Compassionate Leader of the Year.
