Day of Caring 2013 is almost here and we are gearing up for the best year yet! We have 104 companies registered, 4,300 volunteers signed up, and 130 projects to be completed! But, there is still time to get involved.
Day of Caring is a great way for companies to show they care about making a difference. This year we cannot wait to see how excited our volunteers are about what they can accomplish. Volunteer efforts help United Way of Salt Lake advance the education, income, and health of our neighborhoods. Volunteers reach thousands of our most vulnerable citizens and build a stronger community for us all.
Last year we saved our community over $615,000!
Day of Caring begins with a kick-off breakfast at The Gateway from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m., which includes live entertainment and breakfast for all sponsors and volunteer participants. If you are volunteering with us, don’t miss this great event before projects begin!
Remember, it isn’t too late to join us! UWSL has several smaller projects in need of volunteers. Sign up today and help us reach our goal of 5,000 volunteers!
