As part of the 21st Annual Day of Caring, United Way of Salt Lake’s Leadership Circle, Women’s Leadership Council, and Young Leaders joined forces to inspire students at Granite Park Jr. High by participating in career presentations. There were a variety of careers represented, from bankers to IT professionals, but all the presentations were full of words of encouragement and inspiration. Career presentations share a variety of career options to help students broaden their ideas of what types of careers are available to them if they do well in school.

Even those not in that college-bound group had a clear sense of what jobs they did not want to have, so that made them open to preparing for other paths.
