Last month, HollyFrontier employees wrapped up a workplace giving campaign to help United Way of Salt Lake change the odds for kids and families. The West Bountiful refinery ran a month-long campaign and invited me to all its safety meetings to present to employees about our work. They even gave me my own pair of chic safety glasses and stressed the importance of safety at home, as well as work!
HollyFrontier also provides a company match to employee pledges—and the generous staff there wowed us all by sending the company to its cap!
We have a few new Community Investment Advisors at United Way of Salt Lake, and I’m pleased and sad to announce one of them is taking over the HollyFrontier campaign. Dennis Huynh will take the helm and help the employees from here on out as we get them engaged year-round.
I appreciate the enthusiasm and generosity that HollyFrontier employees showed during the holiday season! You’re all in good hands with Dennis, and I hope to see the HollyFrontier team at upcoming United Way of Salt Lake projects and events!
