Love is a strong emotional word to attach to a membership in an organization. I wonder how one can describe a feeling when explaining the satisfaction one gains from being a member of the Women’s Philanthropic Network. However, we can attach the word “love” to our relationships–and that is what the WPN is about.
Magic happens when women come together for the betterment of our community. During those magical moments in our relationships, new possibilities arise. Possibilities about how women can change the odds for girls to obtain their college degrees; and, for immigrants and refugees to find a welcoming community. Women of the WPN are having a measurable positive impact on these outcomes. Our relationships with one another nurture this network and subsequently our work. I LOVE the WPN!
