At the last Young Leaders’ Lunch With a Leader, Comcast’s Kyle McSlarrow gave three salient views on leadership:
- Take care of and invest in your employees
- Be a person of integrity and humility
- Always be aware of the needs of those around you
McSlarrow, Regional Vice President for Comcast’s Mountain Region, shared valuable lessons he has learned throughout his impressive career. Thank you, Kyle, for your generosity and for providing us this remarkable opportunity! I’m always impressed by the leaders we have right here in our own community — and this lunch was no exception.
As a young professional, I like to take advantage of these incredible opportunities offered by being a member of Untied Way of Salt Lake’s Young Leaders. The presentations provide me with great insights about important leadership skills I need to develop. It’s a unique and rare chance for up-and-coming professionals to sit down with some of our community’s most prominent leaders to hear about their career path and learn helpful career advice. I encourage other Young Leaders to take advantage of these amazing opportunities and learn from some of the most influential leaders in our community.
