T.D. Williamson just wrapped up its annual employee workplace giving campaign and at United Way of Salt Lake, couldn’t be more excited about partnering with such a great company! T.D Williamson has maintained a reputation of respect and excellence as a supplier, customer, employer, and community partner for more than 90 years. Long before TDW’s involvement with United Way, giving to the community was important to the Williamson family. All the Williamson children were expected to volunteer, work hard, and give of their time and talent to the community – just as their parents and grandparents had done. As TDW began to grow, T.D. and Carol saw that United Way’s service model matched that of the company’s. Thus, United Way became TDW’s first real corporate community investment, and this partnership continues today in each location where TDW has a business presence. We are very fortunate to have a TDW location here in Salt Lake City!
This year, TDW employees participated in many fun events to benefit United Way of Salt Lake, including a delicious Hawaiian BBQ, water games, disc-golf tournament, pinewood derby race, paper airplane contest, and a car wash! Also, TDW employees gave generously through payroll deduction. On top of all of this, TDW matches every dollar raised by employees to benefit UWSL’s Cornerstone Partner program. Overall, TDW raised over $27,000 for United Way of Salt Lake!
We want to give a huge thank you to Robert Young, Director Pipeline Integrity Operations, for overseeing the campaign this year. We also want to thank his assistant, Patti Sharp, for all her hard work on the campaign. Thank you to everyone else who planned and coordinated all the fun events! Last, we want to thank all TDW employees for your enthusiasm and generosity towards our work!
TDW knows how to LIVE UNITED!
