Access to education is essential to the individual and collective well-being of our children, our state and our nation – it is also the surest path out of intergenerational poverty. We advocate for policies that support a strong public education system, where all children have the opportunities they need to succeed.
Health care coverage, affordable housing, and access to healthy food are just a few factors that can impact a person’s overall health and wellbeing. We support efforts to address these social determinants of health so all children and families can thrive.
Families who are financially stable are more likely to become economically mobile and break cycles of intergenerational poverty. We fight for family-friendly tax policies and targeted investments in social services which contribute to financial stability and economic opportunity statewide.
