Young Leaders recently recognized Gavin Reese (Ray Quinney and Nebeker) for his 2 year service as chair of United Way of Salt Lake’s Young Leaders. Gavin has spent countless hours leading this group of young professionals. He has brought enthusiasm, dedication, and hard work as chair of Young Leaders, and he steps down with the gratitude and respect of many.
While we are sad Gavin is stepping down we are excited for our new chair, Greg Summerhays, (Workers Compensation Fund). As a long-time member, Greg has brought so much to this group. Greg has proven himself a great leader and was named 2012’s Young Leader of the Year.
Thank you, Greg, for taking on this exciting role!
Along with expressing our gratitude for Gavin and his leadership, Young Leaders also spent a day gearing up for our new fiscal year. The Young Leaders are setting ambitious goals, and I have no doubt this group of dedicated individuals will succeed at each of them. Young Leaders will continue to grow and prove that it is the premiere group for young professionals to GIVE, ADVOCATE, and VOLUNTEER. I am so grateful to be able to witness inspirational emerging leaders that give both their time and resources to our community.
Thank you Young Leaders, and especially Gavin Reese for showing us in many ways what it means to LIVE UNITED!
