Leadership Giving Director
Savage Services recently wrapped up its employee giving campaign, and in typical Savage fashion, employees did an AMAZING job.
Deborah Bayle, President and CEO of UWSL, spoke at the kick-off meeting and celebrated the successes that UWSL has seen as a result of Collective Impact in our community. Bob Dunn, the Executive Director of Boys and Girls Club of South Valley, followed Deborah and spoke from an agency perspective about his experience with Collective Impact. We were thrilled to hear how our new approach is helping Boys and Girls Club of South Valley change the odds in ways that were never possible before. Allen Alexander, Chairman and CEO of Savage Services, wrapped up the meeting and asked all employees to stand up out of their chairs and raise their arms. With hands stretched up, he asked all the employees to do the same with their gift to United Way—to reach upward and stretch a little bit more than they had last year.
Employees of Savage also visited several of our Neighborhood Centers to see firsthand how their contribution is making a difference.
A HUGE thank you to Cydney Garland, Employee Campaign Manager, who works all the magic behind the scenes with her supportive committee in order to pull off a successful campaign year after year.
Final results are in and Savage employees increased their contribution and corporate match by nearly $25,000 from last year!!
To all Savage employees and management, we really can’t thank you enough for your tireless support of United Way of Salt Lake. You are a shining star in our community. Thanks for showing us how to LIVE UNITED!
