A few weeks ago, PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) employees had the opportunity to participate in Science Wednesdays at Guadalupe Schools. It was really inspiring to see these employees interact with the kids and to see the kids respond so well to positive role models. Here is what one PwC employee had to say about the experience:
“One of the great things about PwC is the ability to give back to the community in which we live. To give back, several of us from the PwC SLC office donated some time and went to the Guadalupe School to assist the kids in performing some after-school science experiments. As soon as we arrived, the students were very eager and excited for us to be there with them. Our science experiments involved discussing water, its importance, and its unique properties. Though not all experiments went according to plan, and some of us even ended up very wet, both the PwC personnel and the students had a great time spending some time together! This was my second year being involved with this service project and both years have been extremely fun and rewarding. I look forward to participating in this event every year and am glad that I can give at least a little back to my community! “- Collin D. Snow, Assurance
A big thank you to PwC for giving your time at Guadalupe
