For the past 23 years, Target stores have celebrated the holiday season by donating Christmas trees to United Way as part of the Share-a-Tree Program and this December was no different! United Way of Salt Lake volunteers distributed the decorated trees to families at UWSL Neighborhood Centers such as Guadalupe Community School, Central Park Community Center & PAL Boxing, and many others in our Promise Partnerships neighborhoods.
United Way of Salt Lake is proud to coordinate a portion of the nationwide distribution of holiday display trees from its retail stores in the Target Share-a-Tree program. This year, more than 2,600 Target stores donated trees! Because of this wonderful donation from Target stores, many families were able to feel the holiday spirit in their homes with their families.
Thank you, Target, for showing us what it means to LIVE UNITED!
