Corporate Volunteer Engagement Coordinator
We just wrapped up another great year of volunteer engagement with American Express employees!
Amex sends volunteers to five different volunteer projects throughout the year. The projects were completely funded by a grant given to United Way of Salt Lake to engage employees in volunteerism on a year-round basis. We are so impressed with the commitment Amex showed to United Way of Salt Lake, and the community, through these volunteer efforts.
Over the past year, we have engaged over 200 volunteers in close to 20 hours of service events including Day of Caring, Granger Elementary School Holiday Party, Dr. Seuss Day, Earth Day in Fitts Park, and STEM Day at Oquirrh Hills Elementary School.
Thank you to American Express for being a model for other companies on the most effective way to engage employees in volunteerism year-round!
