Although the weather is drizzly, summer will be here before we know it. With that, now is the time to start talking to your coworkers, family, and friends about hosting a Stuff the Bus school supply drive this summer!
You may wonder why we’re already collecting supplies for next school year. This year, we have a big, bold goal for 100 individuals, companies, and groups to collect school supplies! Last year, 85 people collected supplies, so with some early planning, we’ll be able to get 100 with little trouble!
Sign-up to host a drive at stuffthebus.uw.org. Register by this Sunday, April 30, and you will be entered to win two tickets to the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium!
All school supplies you collect are donated to low-income students at neighborhood centers and community schools. These centers and schools work daily with the families and youth of Davis, Salt Lake, and Summit counties to improve academic achievement, reading, and development. Supplies collected will be stuffed into backpacks and delivered to 30 locations in August. We’ll be collecting supplies for more than 10,000 students!
