Stuff the Bus donations are in, and 78 companies, nonprofits, government agencies, community groups, scout troops, and individuals donated 130,378 school supply items!
Juana DuPratt works for Dealertrack, a company with a culture of giving back to the community. She organized her company’s online school supply drive. Here’s what she had to say about Dealertrack’s the experience: “This was our first year participating in this campaign with United Way. We have a number of remote team members and it is always a challenge to find creative ways to have them participate in community activities.
The online portal to order supplies worked perfectly and was super easy to set up. Our team members were very generous in their donations and we were able to meet our goal and contributed over $1000 in school supplies.
We also hosted an ice cream social to thank all of those people that donated and received another large box of physical donations the day of. Stephanie was great to work with and very responsive. We will be looking for more opportunities to give back through United Way of Salt Lake.”

This Saturday, 600 volunteers will pack all of the supplies into backpacks to be delivered to 46 locations and impact 11,296 students! Thank you for volunteering and donating! If you missed the drives, you can still donate online to Stuff the Bus.
