Given the current and ever-evolving state of affairs surrounding COVID-19 (aka coronavirus), we are following the CDC and local government officials’ guidance around social distancing and reducing gatherings. Currently, all of our volunteer opportunities are virtual or socially-distanced. For those of you looking for ways to help, we have a variety of volunteer opportunities and in-kind donation needs from our partners on our website volunteer.uw.org.
We have also launched an initiative to ensure kids are staying on track while they are participating in school from home called Stay Safe, Stay Connected. The program ensures students have the support and materials they need to thrive while distance learning, including school supplies, technology, internet, educational materials, housing stability, and more. Learn how you can get involved at PromiseUtah.org/stay-safe-stay-connected.
