From internet connections to additional educational materials, these resources will help you and your student distance learn.

The Deseret News, KSL, McDonalds, the Governor's office, and the Salt Lake Bees have paired up to keep you reading all summer long. Those that meet their goals get two free tickets to a Bee's game at the end of the summer, as well as other prizes along the way.

High School Credit Recovery
Talk to your high school about credit recovery opportunities for your students. These look like either credit-recovery packets that students can do at home or out-of-school in-person programs, such as summer school. Credit recovery programs help students graduate on time by ensuring they can make up for classes they have missed or failed.

Waterford UPSTART
Waterford UPSTART provides four-year-old children access to the highest form of academic support in their early education at no cost to participants: personalized family education and coaching, a new computer and Internet if needed, and adaptive educational software. This program will help your four-year-old enter kindergarten ready to learn.

Housing/Utility Assitance
Utah Community Action is offering several services during COVID-19 including meals to students 0-18, meal programs for seniors, HEAT utility assistance, housing case management (rental assistance, eviction notice and landlord/tenant dispute assistance), homeless services, and food pantries.

Help the Utah Community amid COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Here are a few ways you can get involved.
The COVID-19 Community Response Fund will support economically-vulnerable Utahans by supporting organizations specialized in rental assistance or mortgage payment assistance; rapid rehousing, shelter diversion, homeless shelters; crisis nurseries and childcare providers; healthcare services for vulnerable Utahns; as well as 211 Information and Referral.
