Guadalupe School recently celebrated and thanked many volunteers who tirelessly and generously give of their time to tutor students at the school.
Volunteers assist with the STAR reading program that helps students improve their reading and comprehension skills. Other volunteers help out in the afterschool program through mentoring and homework help. Among these volunteers are several employees from Savage Services—a company who works in partnership with United Way of Salt Lake. Employees from Savage Services and members from the community all contribute to making this Neighborhood Center success!
Thank you to these volunteers and ALL volunteer to help United Way reach its mission to improve lives and build strong communities by uniting individuals and organization with the passion, expertise, and resource needed to solve problems!
