Believe In Your Future, Online and Web Coordinator
Hundreds of Utah teachers turned out for the Utah Jump$tart Coalition’s teacher summit. It was a special day for the Believe in Your Future campaign, the brainchild of the Utah Council on Financial and Economic Education. Having recently launched a website to provide reliable and trusted personal finance resources from a variety of local and credible organizations (www.believeinyourfuture.org), Believe made it’s first public appearance in two jam-packed sessions at the November 5 summit.
Eyes were wide and heads were nodding through the introduction and virtual tour of believeinyourfuture.org. For teachers, the site can serve many roles: an in-classroom teaching tool, a resource for lesson planning, a resource they can teach their students to use, and a resource they can use in their personal lives. So, for the Believe campaign, it all starts with teachers… and what an appropriate place to begin.
The Utah Jump$tart Coalition is an organization of organizations that share an interest in advancing financial literacy among students in pre-kindergarten through college. Hats off to Jump$tart for hosting such a successful event!
