Resource Development Executive
As a Resource Development Executive at United Way of Salt Lake, I’ve had the opportunity to meet with nearly 100 different companies within Salt Lake, Davis, Summit and Tooele counties. Each company I meet with is unique from the size of their business to the services they offer. All are making significant contributions our community, and one way is through donating to United Way of Salt Lake. Among these varied companies is a shining star, Enterprise Rent-A-Car (ERAC), who has really begun to multiple their impact and stretch their support. ERAC started years ago back in the 1950’s as an idea to lease automobiles. This concept has flourish and has now become a multi-billion dollar industry. Not only has ERAC been successful in creating a business that is here to stay, they also make it a priority to reach out and give back to the community where they do business.
Results are in from ERAC’s workplace giving campaign and they are fantastic! We have one new Tocqueville member, one new member to the Women’s Philanthropic Network and 21 new Young Leaders! Not to mention through their campaign they raised over $60,000 for United Way of Salt Lake. We thank every single one of our ERAC employees who have made this campaign a success! Participation is what helps us LIVE UNITED and Enterprise Rent-a Car has really shown the power of giving together. Welcome to each Young Leader and particularly special thanks to Neil Hafer, General Manager of this area’s locations and to Sally Brown, Group Human Resources Manager for their outstanding efforts to lead us towards greater community involvement at Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
We are beyond excited to create stories and memories for our new 21 Young Leaders!! Thanks Enterprise!
