This year, United Way of Salt Lake is the official charity of the Deseret News Marathon Race Series held on Monday, July 25, 2011 (Pioneer Day!). The race series includes a 5K, 10K, and Marathon. We have three aid stations along the marathon route, and we need volunteers to come help us man the aid station and cheer on runners. We need your help! Recruit your friends, family and anyone else that may want to participate!

Our aid station locations:
#1 – Emigration Canyon (Mile 3) 4:30-6:00 am (10-15 volunteers)
#2 – Location Downtown TBD 5:15-8:00 am (10-15 volunteers)
#3 – 1707 South Foothill Drive 6:00-10:00 am (10-15 volunteers)
Here is what you need to do:
1. Make it to your station on time
2. Set up tables and start filling cups half full
3. Be encouraging, have fun!
4. Bag up the trash and leave everything where you found it. Someone will be along to pick it up.
