Oquirrh Hills Elementary is having a Clothing Swap! Children grow fast, and sometimes faster than wallets. Oquirrh Hills serves approximately 400 students, 50% of which are minorities and 76% are living at or below the federal poverty line. Our promise is to create opportunities so that all children and families, regardless of their circumstances, have the same chances to succeed in school and life.
On February 20th and 21st from 4:00-8:00 p.m., parents will have the opportunity to swap or receive new or gently used clothing for themselves, students, and family members. Every dollar saved is a dollar earned–and every student whose basic needs are met is another student ready to learn.
We are looking for clothing donations, plastic shopping bags, and several volunteers to help sort and distribute clothing at this event. If you are willing to support our families, please contact Stephanie Linton at 385-646-4085 EXT 8881862.
