A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to spend some time out at the U.S. Magnesium Rowley plant way out west past Grantsville. I presented to the plant employees at the beginning or end of their 12 hour shifts, which is a lot of extra time on top of a long day!

The Employee Campaign Manager, Janet Tipton, ran a great campaign equipped with donuts and a huge raffle for those who participated. I was so excited to see how generous the employees were with their time and resources. They were eager to learn about United Way and excited to be a part of this great work.

Their excitement paid off-U.S. Magnesium raised just over $11,500, a $5,000 increase from previous years!  Great job U.S. Magnesium employees! We can’t do the work we do without the kindness of employees like you! Thanks for being a great example of how to LIVE UNITED!
