Day of Caring 2024 Webform

Day of Caring 2024 Volunteer Project Submission 

United Way of Salt Lake’s annual Day of Caring will be on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Hundreds of volunteers will align their time and resources to complete projects that support our community’s needs through projects at local nonprofit organizations.  

If you are organizing multiple projects at more than one location, please submit one form per project.

Please note, while we try our best to find an ideal volunteer group, volunteer requests vary by type, size, location, etc. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to match you with a group that meets all of your preferences. You will be notified of your match by the end of June. If we are unable to find a match for you, we will let you know at that time.

We understand that planning a project in advance comes with some uncertainty and modifications may need to be made after submitting this form. Please update Roni (veronica.scheidler@uw.org) with any changes to your organization's needs. Feel free to reach out any time with questions or to discuss project ideas!

Where should volunteers park? Where should they check-in?



What materials and supplies are needed? Please distinguish which supplies your organization will be providing and what volunteers may need to provide (e.g. “We’ll provide 10 shovels and gloves. Volunteers should bring 5 shovels.”)
