Last week, HB96 successfully passed the House with a majority voting YES. This week, we hope it will be heard in Senate Education Committee. There are a number of ways you can help ensure HB96 passes the Senate.

2-1-1
United Way 2-1-1’s funding request was also heard last week. While our request to strengthen this critical public-private partnership is on a priority list, it has not yet been funded. Please let legislators know why this funding is critical to Utahns.
While our focus remains passing HB96 and securing United Way 2-1-1 funding, we continue to monitor a variety of bills that have an impact on Education, Income, Health, and Basic Needs.
